While healthy animals do not require a vet’s referral, we do mandate one for pets managing chronic illness, such as obesity, cancer, digestive disorders, or allergies. All appointments are conducted remotely

Follow-Up Consultation

For existing clients who need additional support or changes to a previous diet. Includes a 20-minute telehealth consultation and reformulation of a previously created recipe when needed.

Nutrition Consultation for Pets with an Underlying Condition

A two-month program for pets with gastrointestinal disease, food sensitivities, cancer, obesity, or another medical condition. Includes record review, a 45-minute consultation, two personalized recipes, two follow-ups, email support, and collaboration with your veterinarian.

Required Documents: Nutrition Audit Form and Veterinary Referral Form

Nutrition Consultation for Healthy Pets

 A 1 month program, including a 30-minute telehealth consultation, 2 personalized recipes, email support and a brief 15-minute follow-up consult

How much do consultations cost?

What if my pet has a condition that is not listed?

Click “Book a Consult” and describe your pet’s condition and specific needs in the additional questions section. Dr. Weaver will determine whether she can help.

What if my pet does not like or respond well to the recipe?

Dr. Weaver provides two recipes for this reason. She is also available by email throughout the consultation period to address questions or concerns.

Will I receive instructions for preparing the food?

Yes. You will receive step-by-step Diet Preparation Guidelines and a list of recommended supplements. Dr. Weaver is also available by email if questions arise.

Can homemade pet food work with a limited budget?

Fresh-food preparation has costs, but you can discuss financial limitations with Dr. Weaver. She can select more affordable protein sources that may be purchased in bulk.

Should I tell my veterinarian that I am feeding homemade food?

Yes. Your veterinarian should be informed of any dietary change, even when your pet is healthy.
